The Rob Papen Blade V1 to V2 Upgrade is an upgrade option that takes existing owners of Blade V1 to the next level. Rob Papen Blade-2 is one of the most comprehensive virtual synthesizers available on the market based on the ability to generate highly unique sounds compared to conventional subtractive/additive virtual synths. Building on the success of the original Blade virtual synthesizer Blade-2 has a whole host of exciting new features such as the ability to morph and mix between four additive waveforms via the onboard XY pad. Another prominent new feature is the wave-analyze section which will analyse sample data of a waveform and transform it for use with the Harmolator or Additive section. Armed with an arsenal of sonic sculpting tools Blade-2 is a must-have for any sound designer or music producer. While it is capable of producing complex and monstrous sounds Blade-2s tonal palette is vast and varied allowing you to create genre-defying patches with ease. 32 filter types are on offer to choose from as well as a modulation matrix and a dedicated amplifier section allowing you to sculpt and shape your sound with the utmost accuracy. Thats not all Blade-2 also has three multi-FX processors equipped with premium-quality effects to add texture and punch to your sound. Two new rows are also included for the X and Y position of the XY pad for added flexibility. Of course it wouldnt be a Rob Papen synthesizer without a wide variety of presets and Blade-2 doesnt disappoint. With over 1500 presets to choose from there is something for every musician out there.
