The Rob Papen RoCoder is a vocoder plugin like no other. Expanding on the classic design of the vocoder this digital plugin boasts a whole host of creative tools that take the iconic vocoder one step further. Starting with a 32-band vocoder the RoCoder introduces a range of different modes which you can use to create a wide range of varied sounds. The new modes include Additive Vocoder + Additive Noise Tune Noise and Tuned Comb modes. Each mode features unique characteristics which vary from mode to mode. For example activating Additive mode bypass the vocoder instead providing you with 32 bands of harmonics via sine waveforms. The combined mode of Vocoder + Additive allows you to blend between the two modes for some seriously interesting tonal results. With a wide range of modulation options on offer the RoCoder gives you unprecedented control over your tonal palette. An XY Pad is included for generating phased movement within your sound as well as a comprehensive modulation matrix and a range of onboard FX such as Reverb Flanger Chorus Stereo Delay and more. Not only that but it also has a variety of presets included - perfect as a source of inspiration or for demoing the power of the RoCoder.
