The Rohema Mr.Muff 14" MuffBite is a drum dampener suited to drummers who want controlled natural-sounding tone shaping. Covering roughly a third of the drumhead it combines a black felt rim with a vintage-style cotton corduroy surface to reduce unwanted overtones while preserving the character of your drum. The result is a drier more defined sound with improved focus and articulation.The magnetic RimMount system attaches securely to steel hoops and can also be positioned on the resonant side of the drum for additional damping options. This gives you a simple way to experiment with different levels of control without permanently altering your setup. Rohema also includes three foam-lined metal clamps for use with die-cast hoops helping ensure a secure fit while protecting the hoops finish.
