The Roland Cloud Jupiter-8 Virtual Instrument is a faithful recreation of one of the most legendary analog synths ever created - the Jupiter-8. Renowned as one of the most sought-after polysynths the Jupiter-8 cemented its reputation as one of the best in the early 80s thanks to its deep programmability and rich sound palette. Taking after its name the Jupiter-8 was able to create other-worldly sounds not seen or heard before in synths up to this point. It is easy to see why this was Rolands flagship synth in the 1980s with two discrete VCOs capable of cross-modulation and an in-depth control section. It was also revered for its musical filters including HP/LP filters with two/four-pole settings as well as including an LFO and two envelope generators. From live performances to sound design the Jupiter-8 will shine. The advanced sound design capabilities allows you to create everything from ethereal pads to crunchy EDM-inspired basslines. Whilst staying true to the original the Jupiter-8 includes new enhancements such as an onboard reverb (and tempo-syncing delay) an extended oscillator range and the ability to change the condition of the plugins knobs for aged sound adjustment.
