The Rovner Platinum alto sax ligature is the fanciest ligature around. Jazz and classical musicians who use a rubber mouthpiece use the Rovner ligature as it has such a versatile sound with a large tonal spectrum. The pure and moderately dark tone produced by the Platinum ligature has a ringing quality with superior control and perfect intonation. Lower register playing is solid and the excellent reed gripping capabilities enable synthetic reeds to be used. The high-quality American construction of the highly-tempered metal alloy combined with a polished finish enables the Platinum ligature to be the jewel of any alto saxophone. The Rovner Platinum ligature includes a Rovner cap.
