The Roy Benson TR202 Bb Trumpet is a good intermediate instrument for students who are looking to upgrade their trumpet. The medium-large bore allows for great projection with not too much breath needed an excellent trait for players who want to project well while not having the lung capacity of a more experienced player. The gold brass bell and leadpipe create a darker tone that resonates in the middle to lower registers. Nickel silver outer slides are resistant to corrosion and add sonority to the timbre. Stainless steel pistons wont corrode easily and have minimal friction when being pressed allowing you to play fast passages with ease. The adjustable finger ring on the third valve slide allows you to adjust the instrument to suit your hand size best. A clear lacquer finish brings out the shine of the brass as well as providing a layer of protection to it from corrosive oils on your hands. This comes as a complete starter set so you will receive a mouthpiece and lightweight rectangular case with a rucksack strap.
