The sE Electronics sE8 Cardioid Condenser Mic Capsule is an interchangeable capsule for focused recording with an existing sE8 system. Its cardioid pattern prioritises sound arriving from the front while reducing pickup towards the rear. This helps separate the intended source from surrounding sound and makes the capsule a versatile choice for acoustic guitar piano drums percussion and other instruments.The handcrafted small-diaphragm true-condenser design captures fast attacks and subtle performance details with a balanced natural character. When attached to a compatible sE8 chassis the completed microphone covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz and provides low-noise performance. The chassis attenuation settings and low-cut filters also remain available allowing the assembled microphone to handle loud instruments rumble and unwanted bass.Please note: This product includes the capsule only. A full sE8 chassis is required to create a complete working microphone.
