The sE Electronics sE8 Supercardioid Mic Capsule is a replacement capsule for sE8 owners needing focused instrument capture. Its supercardioid pattern concentrates on the source ahead while providing excellent off-axis rejection helping reduce spill from nearby instruments. This makes it a practical option for drums percussion acoustic guitar brass and individual orchestral instruments.The handcrafted true-condenser design uses an ultra-thin gold-sputtered diaphragm to capture quick transients and subtle performance details naturally. It attaches to an existing sE8 preamp allowing you to change the microphones pickup pattern without purchasing another complete microphone. Once fitted the preamps switchable attenuation settings and low-cut filters remain available. This product contains the capsule only making it ideal for expanding an existing sE8 system. A logo sticker and user manual are also included. Please note: This product includes the capsule only. A full sE8 chassis is required to create a complete working microphone.
