The Sela 20" Chau Gong Sun is a handmade bronze gong suited to meditation sound therapy and musical performance. Crafted from a special bronze alloy it produces deep fundamental tones with a broad range of overtones and long-lasting resonance. It also responds clearly to different striking techniques giving you plenty of control over its dynamics and character.The distinctive Sun finish combines an untreated matte bronze surface with polished concentric rings that create striking visual contrast while subtly shaping the gongs response. These polished sections help add clarity and projection without losing the earthy complex sound of the untreated bronze. Visible hammer marks and natural patina ensure every gong has its own unique appearance and voice.
