The Sela 20" Wind Gong Mantra is a handmade traditional gong for meditation sound therapy and musical performance. Its flat profile without a raised rim produces a broad evenly spreading sound with long sustain and a rich overtone spectrum making it well-suited to creating immersive soundscapes. Crafted from a special bronze alloy it offers a warm balanced tonal character that responds naturally to different playing dynamics.The Mantra design combines a dark low-gloss finish with detailed engravings of the Tibetan Buddhist mantra Om Mani Padme Hum surrounding a central Om symbol. These engraved details reveal brighter bronze beneath the surface adding subtle visual contrast while also contributing to the gongs overtone response. A fleece-covered beech mallet is included for comfortable playing and the supplied black carrying bag makes transporting and storing the gong straightforward.
