The Sela 24" Chau Gong Mantra is a handmade traditional gong for meditation sound therapy and musical performance. Crafted from a special bronze alloy it produces deep fundamental tones with a broad range of overtones that respond naturally to different playing techniques and dynamics. The 24-inch diameter creates long-lasting vibrations making it well-suited to immersive soundscapes and reflective performances.Its striking Mantra design features a dark low-gloss finish with concentric engravings of the Tibetan Buddhist mantra Om Mani Padme Hum surrounding a central Om symbol. The engraved surface reveals brighter bronze beneath creating subtle visual contrast while also influencing overtone articulation and maintaining a warm sustained character. A fleece-covered beech mallet is included for controlled expressive playing while the supplied black carrying bag makes transporting and storing the gong straightforward.
