The Sela 24" Chau Gong Yin & Yang is suited to meditation sound therapy and expressive musical performances. Handmade in China from a special bronze alloy it produces deep fundamental tones with a rich spread of overtones that linger long after each strike. It also responds clearly to different playing techniques giving you plenty of control over the character and intensity of each sound.The polished Yin & Yang design combines contrasting light and dark finishes with fine circular textures that radiate from the centre. These surface variations subtly influence the gongs response and overtone distribution while the iconic symbol creates a distinctive visual centrepiece that reflects balance and harmony. With a 24-inch playing surface a fleece-covered beech mallet and a protective carrying bag included this gong is ready for transport practice performances or therapeutic sessions.
