The Sela 28" Wind Gong Mantra is a handmade bronze gong for meditation sound therapy and musical performance. Its traditional flat-profile design without a raised rim produces a wide evenly spreading sound with long sustain and a rich spectrum of overtones. This makes it well suited to immersive soundscapes relaxation sessions and expressive percussion performances.The Mantra finish combines a dark low-gloss surface with finely engraved concentric rings of the Tibetan Buddhist mantra Om Mani Padme Hum centred around the Om symbol. The exposed bronze engraving creates subtle highlights while adding texture to the surface. Small variations in the handmade engraving and finish also contribute to the gongs individual response and overtone character while maintaining its warm sustained sound. Supplied with a fleece-headed beech mallet and a black carrying bag its ready for transport storage and performance.
