The Seydel 1847 Symphony 48 Chromatic Harmonica marks Seydels complete reimagining of the 12-hole chromatic harmonica. By approaching the design from scratch they have developed all-new systems. This is their first instrument to feature the brand-new Magnetic Slider - giving increased playability and easier maintenance - and the first harmonica in which they have implemented their newly developed polished stainless-steel reeds - producing a brilliant new quality of tone. Seydel?s brand new design improves playability and responsiveness. An extremely airtight mouthpiece construction combined with recessed German silver reed plates on a solid aluminium comb results in a harp which has incredible stability and tone control. German manufacturer Seydel has a rich and time-honoured tradition in harmonica making and have been hand-crafting top-end instruments since 1847.
