Sinevibes present their take on the audio reverser in the form of Skew; a non-linear audio reverser with precise transport synchronisation so that you can play input audio live into a buffer while Skew plays it back in reversed segments. Featuring six non-linear curves for warping audio playback speed Skew not only reverses audio but is also effective at producing a number of interesting sonic qualities and can in fact create multiple precise effects such as reverse tape rewind pitch slides detune glitching and scratching. Owing to fine calibration responsiveness and a DJ-style crossfade control Skew can easily be automated or manipulated in real-time to produce dynamic movement through the effects it produces.
