The Softube British Class A is a channel strip plugin emulation of a world-famous British Class A-style recording console enhanced for modern production workflows. Modelled on sought-after large-format British consoles from the 1960s and 1970s British Class A captures the depth warmth and smooth high-end associated with countless iconic recordings. Its carefully modelled Gate Compressor Filters EQ and Drive sections provide the tools needed to shape individual tracks buses and complete mixes with familiar analogue character. The renowned three-band EQ delivers musical tonal shaping with stepped controls silky shelving filters and a versatile mid-band. In addition the Drive section recreates the harmonic saturation of pushing a console channel harder adding extra weight presence and colour. Beyond the standard plug-in British Class A also includes dedicated versions for Console 1 Amp Room and Modular allowing you to take the workflow with you in whichever environment you are working in within the Softube ecosystem.
