Delivering the clean open sound that helped define countless modern productions the SSL XL 9000K-Series boasts the extended bandwidth low distortion design and minimal phase shift from the original console to preserve detail across the frequency spectrum. Its the perfect companion when mixing R&B hip-hop electronic jazz. When additional colour is required the integrated Variable Harmonic Distortion model lets you introduce anything from subtle warmth to more pronounced transistor-style saturation. Softube has also expanded the dynamics section with a fully adjustable gate and switchable Peak and RMS compressor modes giving you greater control over transient response and dynamic behaviour. The result is a versatile channel strip that combines precision flexibility and the workflow advantages of Console 1.
