The Spira Guitars S-457 Multiscale Poplar Burl is a seven-string electric guitar built for extended-range playing combining premium tonewoods with a fan-fret multiscale layout. Its longer scale on the bass side helps keep heavy riffs tight and articulate while the shorter scale across the higher strings provides a fluid feel for lead playing and easier string bending. A pair of custom Spira Villain humbuckers gives the S-457 a powerful voice across its extended range remaining clear and punchy when you pile on the gain. The roasted poplar body is topped with eye-catching spalted poplar while the roasted maple neck and fretboard complement the distinctive construction. With 24 jumbo frets a fixed bridge and black locking machine heads its equipped for modern rock and technical playing.
