Handcrafted by one highly skilled craftsman each Messina is a unique instrument that reflects the individuality of its master. Once finished the Messina viola is finished in a gorgeous shellac varnish and workshop tested. Just like violas that cost ten times the price the Messina has full Ebony fittings. Not only will these be more comfortable for you but the Ebony will also be durable and hardwearing. To complete the Messina its strung with Pirastro Tonica strings which offer a lovely tone. Please note: due to the bespoke nature of this instrument the grain of the wood will vary and this may be supplied as a one-piece or two-piece back depending on availability.
