The Synapse Audio Hydra Synthesizer is a versatile multi-model synthesizer offering a wide range of sounds. With three different routing models and three oscillators the Hydra offers endless sonic possibilities. The three oscillator routing models allow for a wide range of sounds whether you prefer phase modulation or ring modulation. Each model has its own distinct character and capabilities giving you the flexibility to create unique and original sounds. Two of the oscillators have 39 preset waveforms and can be individually saturated adding even more depth to your sounds. The envelopes can also be switched to percussive mode transforming the Hydra into a powerful drum synthesizer. The user interface is logically organized making it easy to navigate the extensive range of parameters. In addition to its impressive synthesis capabilities the Hydra comes with built-in effects to further enhance your sound. These include a chorus/delay effect with tempo sync a bass expansion unit for solid sub basses and a roaring distortion effect. To get you started the Hydra includes a library of 128 presets ranging from house/club style organs to bells basses leads and pads.
