The Tama Mike Portnoy Signature 12 x 5 Snare Drum is a signature snare drum created in collaboration with American drummer Mike Portnoy and Tama. With a 1mm hammered steel shell this powerful yet small-sized drum emits bright and direct drum tones with long and deep sustain. This snare provides a wide array of tuning whilst retaining a solid snare sound. The most notable feature of this snare drum is the 3-way tension adjustable strainer. This feature allows you to lock the strainer into three different positions each creating different snare intensities. With an eye-catching aesthetic and cutting tones this snare will easily adapt to any drummers setup.
