The Tama Star Reserve Bubinga/Walnut 14" x 5" Snare Drum is suited to drummers wanting warmth definition and sensitive response. Its 6mm shell combines four plies of walnut with two plies of bubinga producing a full-bodied sound with focused attack and strong mid-low projection. Maple Sound Focus Rings add further definition while the shallow 5" depth keeps your playing clear and articulate.A 2.3mm 10-hole Sound Arc Hoop complements the shells responsive character helping you get a sensitive response across different playing dynamics. Tama also equips the snare with Remo Ambassador heads and 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires. An outer Cordia ply finished in Gloss Cordia completes the drum with a detailed natural wood appearance.
