Its 6mm hybrid shell combines four plies of birch with two inner plies of American black walnut giving you the focused attack of birch alongside the warmer firmer character of walnut. The result balances punch with a sweet mellow response.Tamas rounded bearing edge is shaped to follow the natural curve of the drumhead improving contact between the head and shell to help maximise resonance. Die-cast zinc hoops add a sharp solid character to rimshots giving accented playing plenty of definition. Finished in Vintage Champagne Sparkle this 14" x 6.5" Starclassic snare also brings a distinctive look to your setup.
