The first STARPHONIC Copper. Featuring a 1.2mm copper shell and hearty 7 depth. Thats what gives this Tama Starphonic 14" x 7" Copper Snare Drum its raw cutting power. The sound is exceptionally rich producing deep and dark overtones. The attack however is quite dry with acute cutting power and a deeper thump provided by the depth. All Starphonic snare drums are fitted with Tamas Grooved Hoop which provides a balance between triple-flanged and die-cast hoop design. With extraordinary cutting power but plenty of rich deep tonalities; the STARPHONIC Copper snare drum is ideal for a variety of situations from orchestra all the way to modern rock.
