The String Cleaner has been designed for use with violins providing a 360 degree cleaning action. The cleaning tool removes dirt oils and rosin from the violin strings. Featuring microfibre pads - a very fine synthetic yarn the string cleaner is capable of absorbing said excess from the strings and fingerboard. ToneGear advises violinists to use the cleaning tool after every use strengthening three times more than untreated strings. Excess oils and dirt can cause oxidation and rust resulting in the strings breaking or becoming very subtle. The string cleaner helps to keep the violin strings healthy and full of life so they can maintain their voice for longer.
