Both strings use a spiral core with tungsten/chrome winding combining a solid deep core tone with a brilliant vivid character. Their responsive design gives you plenty of scope to shape your sound whether playing softly or pushing into powerful fortissimo passages.With a combined medium tension of 28 kg split between 14.3 kg for the G and 13.7 kg for the C the set balances responsive playing with wide-ranging dynamics. You can also vary the character of the bow response covering softer harder and sharper articulation across Baroque and modern styles. Plus these G and C strings are designed to complement Thomastik Versum Solo A and D strings giving you a coordinated full-set option.
