The Tight Screw 42mm Tension Rods are crucial as parts or spares for every drummer. The 42mm tension rods are perfect for toms and snare drums as well as general drum maintenance or to be kept in your hardware bag. Whats the difference? Tight Screws look like any standard tension rod however they hold a secret. They are redesigned to eliminate de-tuning by milling one side of the tension rod by 1mm and filling it with a rubber/nylon composite. This increases the amount of surface tension and friction between the rod and the lug.
