The Vandoren V16 Alto Sax Mouthpiece A5 S+ is designed for alto players who need flexibility across jazz and contemporary styles. Its Small Plus chamber allows more air to move through the mouthpiece giving you a broader deeper sound while keeping that free-blowing feel. Youll notice strong projection but with enough control to shape your tone the way you want.With a 1.880 mm tip opening and medium long facing this A5 model strikes a useful balance between response and resistance. For the same facing length a more open tip makes softer reeds easier to play while a longer table can support stronger reeds. That means you can fine-tune your setup to suit your embouchure and style. Made from certified non-toxic ebonite (natural rubber with sulphur and linseed oil) the beak contains no added plastics. Its built to maintain reliable intonation and consistent pitch whether youre rehearsing recording or performing live.
