The Vandoren T55 Java Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece is suited to jazz soul and funk players wanting projection with a comfortable feel. Designed from ebonite it combines the warmth and familiarity of a traditional mouthpiece with a brighter more direct sound inspired by metal designs. The T55 model uses the same tip opening as the V16 T6 helping you achieve a lively response with plenty of flexibility for expressive playing styles.Its long facing provides smooth articulation and consistent control across the range whether youre performing punchy funk lines jazz solos or more dynamic ensemble parts. The 2.50 mm tip opening gives you room to shape your tone and phrasing while maintaining stability during longer sessions. Tuned to A = 442 Hz the T55 is built for tenor saxophonists who want a responsive mouthpiece with a broad adaptable sound character.
