The Vandoren VK1 Synthetic Tenor Saxophone Reed 30 is ideal for saxophonists after reliable strength and long-lasting performance without the upkeep of cane reeds. Made in France using a unique composite fibre this reed offers the same acoustic behaviour as traditional options but with greater durability and stability.Its completely moisture-resistant so it wont warp rot or change shape with saliva or drying. You can play straight out of the box; this means no soaking sanding or adjusting needed. Its also washable and can be disinfected with alcohol or a food-safe cleaner.The VK1 30 strength sits between standard 2.5 and 3.5 cane reed strengths offering nuanced control for players who want something in between. For best results store it flat using a smooth-surfaced holder instead of a grooved one.
