The Vienna Symphonic Library Studio FX Piano is a virtual piano instrument that transforms sampled piano recordings into an extensive palette of unconventional textures for composers producers and sound designers. Built from a Yamaha CFX recorded at Vienna Synchron Stage the instrument uses screws bolts rubber felt chains paper and an EBow to reshape familiar piano tones into percussive hits sustained drones organic plucks atmospheric pads and evolving soundscapes. Sampled in a controlled environment in Vienna Synchron Stage B this dry recording environment gives you complete freedom to add your own processing while optional convolution reverb lets you place the instrument in a wide range of acoustic spaces without leaving your DAW. Dedicated FX patches performance articulations mixer presets and the Vienna Synchron Player make it easy to create distinctive textures for film scoring contemporary composition electronic production and experimental music all without ever needing to touch external plugins.
