The Yamaha SECW8 Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer is designed for drummers who want greater control over cymbal resonance. Its hybrid construction combines a soft foam rubber outer section with a firmer silicone rubber core allowing your cymbal to vibrate more freely and bring out more of its natural tonal character. Compared with a conventional felt washer this combination provides increased low-frequency output and sustain.Want an even more open response? Simply remove the black outer section and use the blue inner core on its own. This setup increases volume and sustain across the frequency spectrum giving you an easy way to adjust your cymbals behaviour without changing the cymbal itself.
