The Yamaha YCL-CSG Custom Bb Clarinet Hamilton Plate is suited to advanced clarinettists seeking refined tone and reliable playability. The grenadilla body slightly fuller barrel and thick-walled bell work together to produce a warm centred sound with rich overtones and strong projection.This model also features Hamilton-plated keys offering a harder-wearing alternative to standard silver plating. Hamilton plating is a durable alloy finish designed to resist tarnishing and reduce long-term wear on frequently used key surfaces. It also gives the keys a smoother feel under the fingers while maintaining a clean professional appearance. Combined with Yamahas redesigned key shape hand-undercut tone holes and carefully positioned cork and leather pads the result is a clarinet that feels responsive balanced and dependable across the full range.
