The Yamaha YCLCSGIII is a total reinvention of the clarinet. Yamaha re-evaluated and re-analysed every single specification of their clarinet design in order to improve the tone expressiveness and comfort of this instrument. By combining their proven ability to innovate with their vast experience in classical woodwind instrument-making Yamaha have produced a clarinet with a beautiful sound effortless responsiveness and endless playability. A number of improved features - including a highly reliable Eb lever optimally set-up pads and a new slightly plumper barrel design - have succeeded in increasing the dynamic range and therefore the freedom of expression available to the performer. Premium seasoned Grenadilla body construction gives the YCL-CSGIII a versatile classic sound whilst the silver-plated keyworks boast an effortlessly smooth action. This is a masterclass in instrument design resulting in a truly professional standard of clarinet. Please note that wooden instruments are affected by humidity and temperature and as a result the wood may expand and contract which would affect joints such as the tenons and bell rings.
