The Yamaha YSL-254CF Tenor Trombone is a lightweight durable instrument made with beginner players in mind. Its carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) outer slide weighs less than a conventional metal slide helping you maintain your posture while reducing strain on your right arm. Its also highly rigid impact resistant and corrosion resistant giving you extra reassurance while youre still getting used to handling and caring for your instrument.Importantly the lightweight slide still provides the accuracy needed for smooth airflow and quick response helping produce a natural trombone-like tone. The straight outer-slide sections use CFRP while the crook is brass and the inner slide is nickel silver. A yellow brass bell retains a familiar trombone character complemented by a medium bore. A 48S mouthpiece and hard case are included too so youre equipped for lessons and practice.
