The Fortin Meshuggah Signature Pre-Amp Distortion is a high-gain preamp pedal developed with Meshuggah to deliver the bands precise crushing and articulate guitar tone. Designed to handle the demands of extended-range guitars and heavily down-tuned rigs the pedal combines aggressive modern gain with the razor-sharp definition required for complex polyrhythmic playing. Inspired by the tonal character of the Fortin Meshuggah amplifier this pedal recreates the focused attack tight low-end control and massive harmonic saturation that have defined the bands sound . The pedal features dual channels active EQ controls and selectable gain structures for everything from tighter classic rock crunch to devastating modern high-gain saturation. An integrated Fortin Zuul noise gate keeps performance tight and controlled even at extreme gain levels eliminating unwanted hiss. The active three-band EQ allows precise shaping of bass midrange and treble frequencies making it easier to tailor the pedal to different amplifiers cabinets and tuning ranges. The Fortin Meshuggah Signature Pre-Amp Distortion delivers uncompromising performance.
