Introduced in 1959 as a lighter more acoustic-voiced counterpart to the ES-335 the ES-330 quickly found favour with players who wanted a resonant responsive instrument that could cover everything from smooth jazz to gritty rock n roll. This modern reissue stays true to that heritage with a fully hollow 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body a comfortable rounded C mahogany neck and period-correct details throughout. Powered by a pair of Dogear P-90 pickups hand-wired to vintage-spec electronics it offers bright articulate cleans and a raw growling overdrive character thats impossible to fake.
