The Synergy DRECT 2-Channel Preamp Module is ideal for guitarists pursuing the iconic rectified tones that shaped heavy rock and metal. Its all-tube layout captures the same low-mid weight and saturated gain that defined the earliest Rev C amplifiers. Both channels can be set to either Orange or Red voicings giving instant access to everything from tight crunch to full high-gain intensity. This keeps hard-hitting rhythm parts clear and articulate even with down-tuned guitars. A three-position cathode select switch adjusts feel and bass character by shifting between popular input tube circuits. The DRECT module arrives in position 3 reflecting the preferred setting for this voice. A dual or single slide switch ensures compatibility across Synergy systems as well as older Egnater or Randall hardware. Selecting the active channel in single mode keeps the module flexible for long-standing rigs that rely on a single-channel layout.
