Developed alongside former Boston Symphony Orchestra bass trombonist Douglas Yeo this refined Xeno model expands on the success of the earlier YBL-622 with a series of carefully considered design improvements.Its gold brass bell produces a rich rounded sound with excellent depth while the dual bore construction helps maintain control and consistency across both delicate passages and powerful orchestral sections. The closed wrap design keeps the instrument balanced and comfortable to hold supporting smoother airflow through the rotary valve system. Nickel silver inner slides contribute to a dependable quick slide action and the included BL-YEO-L mouthpiece complements the instruments focused response.
