Yamaha YSL-354V Valve Trombone

Available from Gear4Music at €2,124.96.

The Yamaha YSL-354V Valve Trombone is suited to brass players who prefer valves over slide positions. Designed for trumpet euphonium and doubling players it combines the rich full character of a trombone with the fast familiar response of piston valves. This makes it particularly useful for marching bands jazz ensembles and players transitioning between brass instruments. Its yellow brass bell helps produce a warm rounded tone with plenty of projection while the medium bore size keeps the instrument balanced and comfortable to play. Yamahas valve design provides smooth reliable action that feels responsive during faster passages and technical sections. The nickel silver outer slide adds durability and supports smooth movement where needed and the included case makes transport between rehearsals and performances straightforward.
